A Healthy Switch & a Recipe for Quinoa Tabbouleh
Sometimes you just need a good, healthy side. Or a salad. Or, say, a side salad. Tabbouleh is a classic, but it doesn’t offer a whole lot nutrition-wise. Don’t get me wrong; it’s good for you, but what if it was even better? That’d be pretty awesome.
Enter: Quinoa Tabbouleh. Switching out the bulgur or couscous for quinoa adds a nice dose of protein, magnesium, and iron, and really doesn’t change the taste or texture. It’s a win-win for your taste buds and your body.
