New Restaurant: Richard Blais' Kestrel at the Indian Wells Golf Resort
New restaurant alert, friends! This fall, Indian Wells Golf Resort in the Coachella Valley will welcome Kestrel, an exciting new restaurant headed up by award-winning chef Richard Blais. Known for his charismatic presence on FOX's “Next Level Chef” and his assortment of culinary ventures, Blais will bring his unique touch to Southern California cuisine {he’s a mainstay in the San Diego food realm}, featuring sustainably sourced seafood, dry-aged signature cuts, and locally-grown produce.
Perched atop the resort's stunning clubhouse, Kestrel offers patrons a dining experience that combines relaxed elegance with culinary excellence – a combo definitely worth the trip to the desert. There, guests will be able to savor meals in a natural light-filled space or on the outdoor terrace, with panoramic views of the Celebrity and Players golf courses and the Santa Rosa Mountains.
“As one of the top public golf venues in the U.S., we’ve long prided ourselves on the exceptional quality of our golf courses and facilities, and Kestrel will elevate our culinary offerings to a level unlike anything else available in the Coachella Valley,” says Robin Graf, Indian Wells Golf Resort General Manager. “Chef Blais and his talented staff will showcase delicious and intriguing culinary ideas that we can’t wait to share with our guests,” says Graf, “We believe this will be a unique dining experience as well as one that establishes Indian Wells Golf Resort as not only a premier golf venue but a ‘must-visit’ culinary destination as well.”
Richard Blais, celebrated chef, restaurateur, James Beard-nominated author, and television personality co-stars alongside Gordon Ramsay on FOX's “Next Level Chef” and was the first winner of Bravo's Top Chef All-Stars. He owns Trail Blais, a culinary consulting company, and has authored several cookbooks, including his latest, “Plant Forward: 100 Bold Recipes For A Mostly Healthy Lifestyle” which he authored with his wife, Jazmin.
