A Sip of Perfection: Cococo’s Hot Chocolate

Tis the season for hot cocoa {as I mentioned before, it’s morphed into its own food group at the moment}, and if I’m not making it myself at home {with dark chocolate, steamed milk, and not much else}, I’m rather picky. I mean, it’s not exactly something you should skimp out on, is it?

So when FBC asked about my favourite hot chocolate spot, in a new Restaurant Roundup segment on their site, the answer came to me in a snap: Starbucks.

Kidding. In Calgary I like to go right to the source: Cococo Chocolatiers {formerly Chocolaterie Bernard Callebaut}. It seems like a no-brainer to me because they use high quality chocolate and they don’t make it overly complicated. The drink is rich. It’s creamy. It’s just the thing to enjoy on a chilly winter day {or, you know, every day}.

For an extra decadent experience, pick up a few of Cococo’s Dark Chocolate Dipped Organic Marshmallows to pop into the warm drink {or eat them on their own!}. After all, the more chocolate, the merrier… right?
